Sponsor terms
Draft: not yet reviewed. Do not rely on this page until it has been approved.
These terms apply to a business that claims a spot on a fundraiser's shirt. By claiming a spot you agree to them.
What a spot is
A spot is a place on the shirt for a business name or logo, worn for one challenge. A challenge means the bike ride, run, marathon or other event the rider is doing, as named on its page.
Your donation
You donate directly to the charity through its fundraising page or the sponsorship page the rider gives you. On a donation-only challenge, SponsorTee receives no money from your donation. Any fee shown before you claim a spot is paid to SponsorTee for printing. Once printing has started, that fee cannot be refunded.
Donations are given to the charity. Any question about a donation's use, or a refund, is for the charity.
Your logo
By uploading a logo you confirm that you have the right to use it on a printed shirt and in publicity for the challenge. You give the rider and SponsorTee a non-exclusive licence to print and display the logo for this challenge and its publicity.
Removing your logo
You can ask for your spot or logo to be removed before the sponsor list is locked, by contacting the rider or [CONTACT EMAIL]. Once the list is locked and the shirt is printed, the printed shirt cannot be changed. If your donation is still not confirmed 30 days after the list is locked, your logo is deleted. The spot then stays reserved with no logo.
Reserved spots
A spot is reserved for you when you claim it. It appears on the shirt once the rider has confirmed your donation. If no donation has come through 14 days after your claim, the rider may release the spot.
No endorsement
A logo on a shirt does not mean that the charity or the rider endorses your business, or that you endorse them.
